Veteran-Owned.
Family-Built.
Triangle-Strong.
When disaster hits a Triangle home, we show up — start to finish — so families can stop scrambling and start recovering.
Why OCI exists.
Restoration is one of the only industries where the people who arrive at your worst moment also profit from how long the work takes. That misalignment hurts homeowners. It's why families end up living in a half-restored house for months, fighting their own insurance company, juggling three different contractors, and wondering if they made the right call when they picked up the phone.
OCI Restoration was built to fix that.
We're the restoration arm of Onofrio Construction — a family construction company with deep roots in North Carolina. That parent company matters because most restoration shops do the easy part — water extraction, soot cleanup, mold removal — then disappear. They hand you a list of contractors and wish you luck on the rebuild. OCI doesn't work that way. When we mitigate, we rebuild. One team, one phone number, one company accountable from the first call to the final coat of paint.
That's what "start to finish" actually means.

What veteran-owned actually means.
Plenty of companies put "veteran-owned" on their website. Most don't explain why it matters.
For OCI, it's not a marketing line — it's a standard. The values that built this company come from a culture of service: show up on time, do the work right, take care of your people, finish what you started. Those values translate directly into how we run restoration jobs. We don't disappear after mitigation. We don't pad estimates. We don't pass you off to subcontractors we wouldn't trust with our own homes.
When you call OCI, you're calling a team that holds itself to a standard you can feel — in the cleanliness of the work site, in the clarity of the communication, in the way our crews talk to your family.
That's the veteran difference. It's not what we say. It's how we show up.
Built by a construction family.
Onofrio Construction has been building and restoring homes across the Carolinas for years. Roofs, remodels, additions, full custom builds — we've done the work. When clients started calling us after water and fire emergencies, we realized something the restoration industry had been getting wrong: mitigation and reconstruction shouldn't be two separate jobs handed off between two companies. They're the same job, done by one team that sees it through.
OCI Restoration was built on that idea. Same construction expertise. Same trade relationships. Same people who would build your kitchen are the ones rebuilding it after a fire. That's a continuity you don't get from a franchise restoration outfit operating out of a strip mall.

The standards we hold ourselves to.
Every OCI job runs on these non-negotiables.
